Adam is an NYC-based actor, director, and theatre artist originally from San Antonio, Texas. A mix of Ukrainian Jewish and Tejano, his quest for a tangible sense of identity in America as a person of color deeply impacts his artistic practice.
Adam is a founding member and Associate Artistic Director of The Egg & Spoon Theater Collective and Co-founded The Fled. In 2021 Adam was named a TCG Rising Leader of Color and a member of Theatre Producers of Color inaugural Producing 101 Cohort. Currently serves on the Board of Directors for Theatre of the Oppressed NYC.
He is currently in the Roundabout Directors Group and was the 2021-22 Robert Moss directing fellow at Playwrights Horizons. He is an Associate Member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society and member of the 18-19 SDC Foundation Observership Class. As an assistant Adam has worked on premieres by Sanaz Toossi, Dave Harris, Tori Sampson, Slyvia Khoury and others. He is the recipient of Syracuse University’s Josephine Abady Award for Excellence in Directing.
As an actor, Adam is a former member of The Flea Theater’s resident acting company, The BATs, where he developed world premieres and revivals with Taylor Mac, Steph Del Russo, Niegel Smith, and others. Regionally, he has worked at San Diego Repretory Theatre, Northern Stages, Westport Country Playhouse, Chautauqua Theater Company, and Syracuse Stage. He has also collaborated with Working Theatre, Latinx Playwrights Circle, The New Dramatists, Pipeline Theatre Company, and others. Adam is a proud graduate of Syracuse University where he received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in acting and a minor in food studies.
